Star Trek has an incredible shield technology... And quantum torpedoes...
Star wars has simple deflectors... Most of their ships are out dated and falling apart... Most of the fighters have no shields, or limited shield systems... One of the fastest ships, the millenium falcon can only do .5 past light speed...
The main army in Star Wars can't hit the broadside of a barn with their weapons...
Star Trek has teleporters... if worse came to worse the Star Trek ship could beam all the occupants of Star Wars ship into space without anything getting in their way... Nuff-Said

I have not heard of that before... Is it a stand up face to face battle between the Star Wars and Star Trek egos of a fan boy?

hmm...I see some good stuff here...
But also remember that there are many more worlds in the Empire than the Federation...also consider which time period you would expect to see Star Trek v. Star Wars. Is this during the Republic when the Jedi are strong? or Is this during the fall of the Empire? What about the Death Star? How many starships does it take to take down a space station the size of a moon? Could Federation scanners penetrate deflectors? What if phasers bounce right off the deflector screens? Couldn't you just imagine a starship surrounded by a hundred one man tie fighters? Are we including the Romulans, Klingons, Gorn, Cardassians, Borg, Q, Dominion and such? The Dominion would probably make a deal with Vader...consider that! The Romulans and Cardassians would probably like the Sith because they agree with deceptive strategy...
I think it would be one helluva fight if you ask me...and really, whose side would the Federation be on? We are looking at ST versus SW, but to draw the Federation into the war would it be the Jedi or the Sith who would ask for Federation help?
What an awesome idea though...Star Trek v. Star Wars...imagine the chaos!

It is unanswerable, unsolvable and insurmountable.
Like asking if white or black is a better color.
or if you spell it color or colour.
It just is.
That said I've got two words for you.

Hey, I'd still like to try to answer it...anyway, anyone can feel free to add to this.
I've removed the script and added a slide show that you can visit!

Now, tell me what you think of this scenario...does it answer a few questions? Or
make more questions...
Live long and stay tuned!

I dunno, there were a lot of interesting points made here, some of which I haven't thought of in my 20 years of being a Star Trek fan.

I know what you mean...and I'm glad you got a kick out of it. I couldn't help but get comical...so many things just
don't match up between the two universes. You said it perfectly, "...Riker got the drop on Vader,..." who would have
thought it. I thought it would be best to see it played out, than just read the story, so I did the slide show.
I know I'm goofy.
Live long and watch the slide show again...

Wiki: George Lucas has cited Trek as a significant influence in driving him to science fiction. He finds assertions that Star Wars is superior to Star Trek or vice versa distasteful, and has been dismissive of segments of the franchises' fan bases who argue over which franchise's technology would "win" in a hypothetical war.
So yup, the Master of SW himself is a Trekkie.

Then again...
That force thing though is a real killer...and here is something else to think about-
How big is the Federation compared to the Empire? I mean, isn't the Federation like 150 worlds and the Empire is 1000. If we are talking numbers, the Trade Federation might be as big as Star Trek's Federation.
My question is this-
Borg ship vs. Death Star
Who wins?
You've got the ability to destroy a planet, of course, but wouldn't the Borg be suseptible to the influence of the Dark side of the Force? I mean...hey...wouldn't we be looking at a whole new way for the Emperor to build a "drone" army instead of clone army?
The Borg wouldn't be as tough in the Star Wars universe. And, I think Klingons would have the corner on the Mercenaries market - with their relentless thirst for battle and glory. They'd love the Emperor.
I don't know...maybe I should do another slide show...
Peace
